“The whale shark experience was incredible! From Playa del Carmen ( Hotel Xcaret) it was a long drive and then a long boat ride ( over 1 hr each) to get to the Whale sharks. Santiago was our guide and we were glad he was. He made the experience more fun by being more knowledgeable and helpful for anything we needed. The snorkeling was fun and then right after to a beach area near the snorkeling to eat lunch. Even though it’s only a few minutes each jump into the water with the whale sharks it feels like just enough time. The only thing I wish they had was fresh…”

“The tour operators were great even through we didn't get to go because of weather they gave us ample warning to change our plans and ensured we were refunded our money. Viator is the reason for the low rating. They hounded me 5 straight days though email and texts for a review I didn't want to give.”

“I wish I could give 10 stars rather than 5! Herbert & Angel were world-class. Two of us get pretty seasick, which made us nervous, but we were totally fine! From heading out, to docking up at the marina, every minute was better than we could have imagined. We were hesitant to leave the resort, but we couldn't be more glad that we did! It was certainly an experience we will never forget. We felt so safe and well-informed. We each swam multiple times with multiple sharks -- truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. The stop at Isla de Mujeres to swim at the beach was also breathtaking, but…”

“The swim itself was amazing. Geovanny our guide helped us get close to the whale sharks and take good photos and videos with his gopro. He was very patient with those not so able swimmers on our boat - you need to be able to swim to keep up with the fast moving animals. Miguel, the captain was very skilful at getting us to the right spot for each dive and the boat ride was enjoyable too. We were served delicious fish ceviche and sandwiches and taken to a beautiful beach in Isla Mujeres before heading back.”
